1. Overview
At Vidoky, we are committed to your satisfaction. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for our services. We believe in being transparent and fair โ if something isn't right, we want to make it right.
Most hosting plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. No lengthy processes โ just contact us and we'll take care of it.
All refund amounts are processed in the original currency and payment method used. Processing times vary by payment provider.
2. Hosting Plans
2.1 Shared Hosting
All shared hosting plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason within this period, contact our billing team for a full refund โ no questions asked.
After 30 days, no refunds are issued for partially-used billing periods. You may cancel at any time and your service will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
2.2 VPS & Cloud Hosting
VPS and Cloud hosting plans carry a 7-day money-back guarantee. These plans involve dedicated resource allocation which takes effect immediately upon provisioning, limiting our ability to offer a longer window.
2.3 Annual Plans
Annual hosting plans are eligible for a full refund within the first 30 days. After the 30-day window, annual plans are non-refundable; however, you may request a pro-rated account credit for unused months at our discretion.
2.4 Renewals
Automatic renewal charges may be refunded if requested within 7 days of the renewal date, provided you have not actively used the renewed service during that period. To avoid unwanted renewals, you can disable auto-renewal from your account dashboard at any time.
3. Domain Names
Domain registrations are generally non-refundable once processed, as we must pay registration fees to the relevant domain registry on your behalf.
Exceptions apply if:
- The domain registration failed due to a technical error on our side.
- The domain was registered in error within the first 5 days and has not been actively used or pointed to any hosting.
Domain renewals are also non-refundable. We recommend enabling renewal reminders to avoid accidental renewals. Premium domains, country-code TLDs, and speciality extensions may have different policies โ check at the time of purchase.
4. Design & Development Services
4.1 Project Deposits
All design and development projects require a non-refundable deposit (typically 30-50% of the project total) to commence work. This covers initial discovery, planning, and resource allocation.
4.2 Milestone Payments
Payments made at specific project milestones are non-refundable once the corresponding deliverable has been approved by the client. If you are dissatisfied with a deliverable, we will work with you on revisions as outlined in your project agreement.
4.3 Project Cancellation
If you cancel a project midway, you will be invoiced for work completed up to the cancellation date. Any overpayment will be refunded; any underpayment will be due immediately.
4.4 Revisions
Our standard packages include a defined number of revision rounds. Work beyond included revisions is billable and non-refundable upon delivery.
5. Add-Ons & SSL Certificates
- SSL Certificates โ non-refundable once issued and installed.
- Business Email โ refundable within 14 days of purchase if not actively used.
- Website Migration โ non-refundable once the migration has commenced.
- Backup Services โ refundable within 7 days if no backup has been executed.
- Security Add-Ons โ non-refundable once activated.
6. Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Step 1 โ Log in to your account and submit a refund request via the Billing section, or email billing@vidoky.com.
- Step 2 โ Include your order number, the service(s) in question, and your reason for the request.
- Step 3 โ Our billing team will review and respond within 2 business days.
- Step 4 โ Approved refunds are processed within 5โ10 business days, depending on your payment method and bank.
We may ask clarifying questions to understand your concern โ this is to help us improve our services, not to delay your refund.
7. Exceptions & Abuse Prevention
Refunds may be denied in the following circumstances:
- The account or service was suspended for violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.
- The refund request falls outside the applicable guarantee window.
- The same account has requested and received a refund previously (one refund per client per service type).
- There is evidence of fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund policy.
8. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks are disruptive and costly to process. If you raise a chargeback without contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation and to dispute the chargeback. Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to the relevant authorities.
